(Codorus Valley, or the Corporation) (NASDAQ: CVLY), parent company of PeoplesBank, A Codorus Valley Company (PeoplesBank), collectively referred to as the Company, today announced net income of $3.3 million or $0.33 per share basic and diluted, for the quarter ended June 30, 2021, as compared to net income of $3.1 million or $0.31 per share basic and diluted, for the quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the first six months of 2021, net income was $7.2 million or $0.73 per share basic and diluted, compared to $61,000 or $0.01 per share basic and diluted, for the first six months of 2020.   “Earnings for the second quarter 2021 increased by 6.5 percent over the same period in 2020,” stated Larry J.
